A Dollar A Day

We praise the Lord for the continuing work of IVCF Philippines. Presently, we have ministries in 49 high schools and 113 colleges and universities.  Students are involved in fellowship and Bible study groups. Discipleship and leadership camps, including Kawayan Camp, are regular features of student activities.

God is at work using the 46 staff workers.  Most of them minister to our students in various campuses while some are doing financial and administrative work in the offices. We thank the Lord for the devotion and commitment of our staff workers who have exchanged a potential career in their field of study to a sacrificial life of service in God’s Kingdom work among the future leaders of our country.

Balikatan has committed to provide 5 units of financial support through Dollar-A-Day for each staff member. Each unit is USD 57 per month or CAD 83. This will account for half of the support needed for each staff worker. Each unit is broken down as follows: USD 50 salary, USD 4 for government-mandated 13th month pay, and USD 3 remittance and administrative fee. The staff members are raising the other half of their salary from non-Balikatan sources like friends and churches in the Philippines. There are currently 46 staff workers with a total of 230 units. To date we still need 170 units.

Please see below for a list of the staff you can support prayerfully and financially. If you decide to be a Dollar-A-Day partner, you can click this link to complete the confidential Commitment Form. You may give monthly or annually. You may also give more than one unit of support. Your chosen staff will communicate with you on a regular basis

Let us not become weary in doing good for at the proper time we will reap the harvest if we do not give up.  Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers. (Galatians 6:9-10)

May the Lord richly bless you and your family.
